A dancer at a Cheyenne exotic club stole a gun and used it to accost another dancer at gunpoint over a dispute over a regular customer, according to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office also alleges that the same suspect, Breanna Ellzey, 28, assaulted her boyfriend with her vehicle when he tried to stop her from leaving their home after he told her the police were looking for her.

A warrant has been issued for Ellzey’s arrest on charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault and battery — threatening with a weapon, theft more than $1,000, and domestic battery — first offense.

Court records show a Laramie County deputy was called to a mobile home park in the 200 block of South Greeley Highway early Wednesday where he was met by a man and two women. The women told him they were exotic dancers at The Den Gentlemen’s Club and the man was dating one of the women.

The trio told the deputy that Ellzey showed up at their home wanting to fight one of the dancers and pulled a “small black semiautomatic handgun” on the man who was in a relationship with the dancer.

“(The man) advised that (Ellzey) ‘pushed him’ up against the car and pantomimed his pockets being frisked,” the affidavit states. “(The man) stated that (Ellzey) removed his Smith & Wesson M&P-15 9mm pistol from his jacket pocket and took possession of it.”

The man told the deputy he allowed Ellzey to take it because “he didn’t want shots flying.”

His girlfriend then told the deputy that Ellzey “accosted” her while holding the weapon before leaving with the boyfriend’s weapon.

The deputy went to Ellzey’s residence in Cheyenne and spoke with her “partner” who told the deputy he was in a dating relationship with her for the past two years. He said he believed Ellzey was in Denver and tried to call her. The deputy then told him to tell her to contact law enforcement because she was wanted for questioning, the affidavit states.

A search of the area did not turn up Ellzey, the affidavit states.

A Return And Flight

At 4:30 a.m., Cheyenne police responded to a call from Ellzey’s boyfriend that she had returned home and then took off.

When interviewed by the deputy, the boyfriend told him that she initially was “unbothered” by his questions to her, but when he told her he was going to call police because they had questions for her she allegedly stated “then I’ve got to get out of here.”

The boyfriend told the deputy that she had a “heavy object” in her purse. When she tried to leave, he stood in front of her vehicle to try and prevent her from taking off and she “bumped him” with the vehicle several times before pushing him out of the way with it and speeding away, the affidavit states.

Ellzey’s boyfriend said prior to leaving the residence the previous afternoon, she had made remarks about “fighting with another dancer over a dispute with a ‘regular’ who was paying less attention to (Ellzey),” the affidavit states.

The boyfriend told the deputy that Ellzey typically carries a semi-automatic 9mm handgun.

The affidavit states that attempts by the deputy to call and text Ellzey’s phone were unsuccessful and that she appeared to block his phone.

The aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon charge carries a minimum penalty of five years to a maximum of 25 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Both the aggravated assault and battery and theft charges carry potential penalties of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The domestic battery charge carries a potential penalty of up to six months in jail and a $750 fine.
