A Sheridan woman filed a complaint with local police that a DoorDash driver sent her a sexually suggestive text message hours after delivering her food.
According to a screenshot of text messages that the woman shared on a social media community page, the man remarked in his text to her that she “looked good” in her underwear.
Police confirmed a text exchange between the man and woman, and that no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the incident. Because no charges have been filed, Cowboy State Daily is not publishing the man’s name.
DoorDash cut ties with the driver, according to a company statement emailed to Cowboy State Daily.
“What occurred was unacceptable. DoorDash has zero tolerance for this type of behavior, and we permanently removed the individual’s access to our platform,” according to the statement.
In the comments section below the woman’s Facebook post, other females said that the same man had also bothered them on previous occasions.

Report Of Harassment
Sheridan Police Capt. Tom Ringley told Cowboy State Daily that on Feb. 11, a woman reported receiving an inappropriate text from a man the night before. He declined to name either party.
The woman told police that she had received a DoorDash delivery at about 2 p.m. the day before, Ringley said.
At 9:47 p.m., she said she received a text from the DoorDash driver, according to police.
Ringley confirmed the wording of the text exchange between the man and the woman matched that of the screenshot posted on social media.
Man: “Hello beautiful I door dashed to you today and I have to say is wow. You looked good in your purple panties.”
Woman: “This is highly inappropriate and I’ll be reporting you to DoorDash. Don’t message me again or come to my apartment I will make a report”
In her social media post, the woman also stated that she didn’t answer the door in her underwear but had in fact been wearing a pair of purple shorts because it was warm in her apartment.
The woman told police that the man hadn’t made any further attempts to contact her, Ringley said.
He Has ‘Taken The Hint’
Police later contacted the man, Ringley said.
He apparently “has taken the hint” about having any further contact with the woman, he said.
He also stated that he had made a mistake by texting the woman after the delivery and understands that his text could be seen as “tasteless,” Ringley said.
There weren’t grounds to charge the man with a crime, he added.
“It can be seen as tasteless, but it doesn’t seem to indicate any ongoing pattern of behavior,” that would warrant charges such as harassment or stalking, he said.
Other Women Share Similar Experiences
In the comment section below the woman’s social media post, at least three other local females said they had been disturbed or harassed by the man, who police said lives in the area.
Cowboy State Daily reached out to the woman who made the original post, and also tried reaching the man who allegedly sent the text. Neither responded by publication time.
Cowboy State Daily also sent messages to two women who commented being bothered by the man, as well as to the mother of an apparent minor female who commented the same.
Destiny Fleenor, one of the women who commented on the social media post that she had previously been harassed and “stalked” at work by the man, responded via Facebook Messenger.
She stated that those experiences reignited mental trauma she suffered from having been kidnapped as a small child.
“To me when I made this report about (the man) I don't think my safety and fear was taken seriously. Especially being harassed by him as I had just become a new mother and a single mother on top of that. It created a lot of paranoia and triggered me mentally,” she stated.
