Casper police are conducting an active investigation in residential Casper, after a juvenile female was shot to death early Tuesday morning, the Casper Police Department announced.
“The involved parties are in custody and witnesses are being interviewed by detectives,” says the agency’s Tuesday morning statement, adding that it was an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the community at this time.
The agency is asking people to avoid the area of Whispering Springs Road and Gila Bend, where the investigation was ongoing Tuesday morning. It encourages anyone with information related to the incident to contact Casper PD’s non emergency line: 307-235-8278.
