Rock Springs police responded to a report of an assault in a town residence Friday morning, and arrived to find two adults dead in the home, the department announced Friday evening.
The assault call came in at about 9:38 Friday morning, from a home on Liberty Drive in Rock Springs, the statement says. Officers arrived to find two deceased adults in the home, whom police have chosen not to identify publicly yet.
The investigation is ongoing, but “there is no threat to public safety,” says the statement, adding that more information will be released as it becomes available.
