A Cheyenne man is accused of punching his children’s mother in the eye when she yelled at him for failing to change their baby’s diaper.

A Cheyenne Police Department officer arrested Alexander Julian Cisneros, 28, midday Wednesday on suspicion of domestic battery.

The officer responded to a home in Cheyenne and spoke with a woman who shares children with Cisneros, according to a Friday jail booking sheet at the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department.

The woman said she entered the house to get her children. She started yelling at Cisneros because her child’s diaper hadn’t been changed yet, the report says.

She was crouched on the ground when Cisneros punched her in the eye at least once, the woman told police. She was unsure how many times Cisneros hit her, the report says.

But Cisneros told police he pushed the woman while she was crouched and she hit her head on a baby gate.

The officer saw that the woman’s left eye was red and bloodshot and  her right nostril was bleeding, the report says.

The officer booked Cisneros in the Laramie County Detention Center without incident.
