It’s Friday, June 23, 2023 and much of the state can expect rain and wind today.  A few storms with large hail and strong winds are possible.  Showers will linger across northern Wyoming into Saturday morning.

It’s Friday, June 23, 2023 and much of the state can expect rain and wind today.  A few storms with large hail and strong winds are possible.  Showers will linger across northern Wyoming into Saturday morning. 

Central:  

Casper:  It should be mostly cloudy then gradually becoming sunny today with a high near 77 and an overnight low near 53. Look for winds to gust from 24-28 mph with a chance of afternoon showers and mostly clear skies overnight. 

Lander:  The high today should be about 71 and overnight low near 47. 

Skies should be mostly sunny today, but with a chance of showers. Winds could gust to 26 mph during the day and 30 mph overnight.  It should be mostly cloudy overnight, becoming mostly clear. 

Glenrock:  Look for a high today of 77 under partly sunny skies and a low overnight of 51.  Showers are possible during the day and overnight with some storms being severe.  It should be mostly clear overnight with winds gusting up to 25 mph. 

Southwest:  

EvanstonIt should be mostly sunny today with a high near 66 and a low overnight around 40.  Showers are possible today with winds gusting to 34 mph.  Skies should be mostly clear overnight with winds gusting as high as 30 mph. 

Green River:  Expect it to be windy today with increasing clouds, a high near 73 and a low overnight near 44. Winds could gust to 41 mph.  Some evening showers are possible.  It should be mostly cloudy overnight with winds gusting up to 34 mph. 

KemmererLook for showers mainly before 1 p.m. today with a high near 66 and a low of around 40 overnight.  Skies should gradually become sunny and expect it be windy with gusts up to 44 mph.  It should be mostly clear overnight with wind gusts up to 38 mph. 

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  Rain is likely today with breezy conditions, a high near 63 and an overnight low of about 39.  Winds could gust up to 37 mph today and 20 mph tonight.  Showers are possible tonight under mostly cloudy skies. 

Afton:  Showers are likely today with a high near 66 and an overnight low of around 40.  Winds could gust up to 20 mph during the day and overnight.  Expect mostly cloudy skies overnight with a chance of showers mainly before 7 p.m. 

La Barge: It should be partly sunny and breezy today with showers likely, a high near 66 and the low overnight around 39.  Winds could gust from 34-37 mph today and overnight.  Expect mostly clear skies tonight. 

Northwest:  

DuboisIt should be rainy and breezy today with a high near 61 and an overnight low of around 42.  Winds could gust up to 26 mph during the day and 28 mph tonight.  There’s a chance of scattered showers tonight under mostly cloudy skies. 

Jackson: Showers are likely today and possible overnight with a high of around 63 and a low near 42.  It should be mostly cloudy overnight. 

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  Rain is likely today with a high near 59 and an overnight low of around 39.  Winds could gust up to 21 mph.  Showers are also likely overnight under mostly cloudy skies. 

Bighorn Basin:  

ThermopolisShowers are likely today with a high near 77 and an overnight low of around 50.  Winds could gust to 21 mph today.  Scattered showers are possible before midnight under mostly cloudy skies overnight.  Winds could gust to 24 mph. 

Cody: Rain is likely today with winds gusting up to 30 mph, a high near 64 and a low of around 51 overnight. More rain is possible overnight under mostly cloudy skies with winds gusting up to 24 mph. 

Powell:  Look for showers today with winds gusting up to 28 mph, a high near 70 and a low of around 52 overnight.  It should be cloudy overnight with showers likely and winds gusting up to 21 mph. 

North Central:  

Buffalo:  Showers are likely today under partly sunny skies with winds gusting up to 23 mph, a high near 70 and an overnight low of about 50.  The chance of showers increases overnight with wind gusts of up to 28 mph.  

Sheridan:  There’s a flood watch in effect today through Saturday night.  Showers are likely today and overnight with some storms producing heavy rain.  The high is expected to be around 72 today and the overnight low near 50. 

Clearmont:  There’s a flood watch in effect today through Saturday night.  Rain is likely today and tonight with some storms possibly bringing with them large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain.  The high should be near 74 today and the overnight low around 50. 

Northeast:  

GilletteThere’s a chance of showers today mainly in the afternoon and overnight with some storms possibly being severe.  It should be mostly cloudy today and overnight with a high of around 70 and a low near 50.  Winds could gust to 20 mph today and 28 mph overnight. 

Sundance:  There’s a chance of showers today mainly between 4 p.m. and midnight with some storms possibly being severe.  It should be mostly cloudy today and overnight with a high of around 66 and a low near 50.  Winds could gust up to18 mph today and 20 mph overnight. 

Upton:  Showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. today.  Some storms could be severe.  The high is expected to reach 73 today with the low near 50 overnight.  Winds today could gust to 22 mph and 24 mph overnight. 

Eastern Plains:  

Torrington:  There’s a chance of showers this afternoon and overnight with some storms possibly being severe.  Expect patchy fog in the morning then turning partly sunny today with a high near 80 and a low of about 51.  It should be partly cloudy overnight. 

Lusk:  There’s a chance of showers this afternoon and they are likely overnight.  Some storms could be severe. Expect patchy fog in the morning, otherwise partly sunny today with a high near 72 and a low of about 49 overnight under mostly cloudy skies.  Winds could gust up to 30 mph today and overnight. 

Midwest:  Showers are likely today under mostly cloudy skies with a high near 74 and a low overnight near 50.  Expect it to be partly cloudy overnight with a chance of showers before midnight.  Winds during the day and overnight could gust up to 31 mph. 

Southeast:  

Cheyenne:  There’s a chance of showers today until about 7 p.m. tonight. Some storms could be severe.  Look for patchy fog in the morning, otherwise partly sunny today with a high near 76 and a low overnight of about 48.  It should be mostly clear overnight with wind gusts up to 25 mph. 

Laramie:  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 76 and mostly clear overnight with a low of about 44.  Wind gusts could reach 30 mph today and 35 mph overnight. 

Medicine Bow:  It should be mostly sunny today with a slight chance of showers, a high near 77 and an overnight low of about 46 under mostly clear skies.  Expect it to be breezy with wind gusts today of 35 mph and 40 mph overnight. 

South Central:  

Rawlins:  It should be sunny and windy today with a high near 75 and an overnight low of about 47 under mostly clear skies.  Wind gusts could reach 45 mph today and overnight.  

Saratoga:  It should be sunny and breezy today with a high near 76 and an overnight low of about 42 under mostly clear skies.  Wind gusts could reach 40 mph today and overnight. 

Baggs: Expect it to be sunny and windy today with a high near 79 and an overnight low of about 42 under mostly clear skies.  Wind gusts could reach 50 mph today and 45 mph overnight.
