Before opening Legacy Institute, Dr. Youmans recognized a significant gap in care. Patients with complex dental needs often traveled out of state for specialized treatment, only to face limited options or uncertainty. Halley O'Donnell knows that experience firsthand. After consulting specialists in Colorado, Nevada, and California, she ultimately found the care she needed much closer to home.
"Many of the places I sought consults from were very weary to take me on as a patient because of my prior chemotherapy and radiation treatments," Halley shared. "I chose Dr. Youmans because he truly seemed to have the most experience in this area of dental care."
For Halley, the transformation went far beyond restoring her smile. She shared that she's smiling more than ever, has gained a monumental sense of confidence, and no longer feels the need to hide her face in photos.
"Part of treating not just teeth, but people is recognizing the obstacles patients have to overcome to receive the care they need," Dr. Youmans said. "Having a central location in Wyoming has allowed our team to treat patients who thought they were out of options. Today, we're caring for patients from across the region."

"We have an amazing team at Legacy Dental, one that I am so proud of," Dr. Youmans shared.
That team includes Dr. Melissa Youmans, Dr. Nick White, and an experienced group of dental hygienists and assistants, nurses, and operations staff. The team’s dedication hasn't gone unnoticed by patients.
"His team was just excellent. I was nervous because I'd never been through anything like this before," shared patient Shara Larry. "You could always call them if you had any questions. They were just amazing."
