The Wyoming State Fair is ready to welcome visitors from across the region for five unforgettable days of agriculture, entertainment, and Wyoming tradition, August 11-15, 2026. This year's fair promises a patriotic lineup of grandstand events alongside dozens of attractions included with the price of admission.
The 2026 Ford Grandstand schedule showcases something for everyone.
The fair kicks off Tuesday, August 11, with the Wyoming Ranch Rodeo Finals, where working ranch crews compete in authentic ranch skills that celebrate Wyoming's agricultural heritage. On Wednesday, August 12, the excitement continues with Breakaway Roping, a FREE grandstand event that allows fairgoers to enjoy professional rodeo action at no additional cost.
Thursday and Friday feature two nights of PRCA Rodeo action. Legacy Night on Thursday includes fan-favorite Mutton Bustin' before the rodeo begins, while Friday's Future Night celebrates the next generation of rodeo with the Miss Rodeo Wyoming crowning preceding the PRCA performance. The fair concludes Saturday evening with the always-popular Douglas Volunteer Fire Department Demolition Derby, bringing the week to an action-packed finish.
While the grandstand events are a major attraction, they're only part of the Wyoming State Fair experience.
Visitors can spend the day exploring livestock shows, browsing commercial exhibits, enjoying live music from Wyoming Singer-Songwriters, discovering unique shopping opportunities, and sampling classic fair food favorites. Families can challenge one another to Cowboy Cornhole or mini golf, snap memories at selfie booths, and stroll through the historic Sheepwagon Show.
Children and adults alike will find hours of entertainment included with admission. The Knowledge Barn offers hands-on agricultural education, while Marcus the Funny Man, a hypnotist, and a magician provide laughs and amazement throughout the week. Fairgoers can also explore static exhibits and countless opportunities to experience the traditions that have made the Wyoming State Fair a summer favorite for generations.

Exhibitor Appreciation Day: guests wearing a cowboy hat receive $1 off admission.
Wednesday:
Youth Day: Children under the age of 12 get into the fair for FREE. Carnival wristbands return to the discounted presale price of $30
Wyoming Hunger Initiative Day: Visitors ages 13 and older can donate five canned goods to receive discounted admission.
Thursday:
Military Appreciation Day: Offering free admission to active military personnel with ID
Pioneer Day: Visitors over the age of 13 can bring five canned goods to donate and get into the fair for $5
Friday:
$5 Foodie Friday allows guests arriving before 1:00 p.m. to save on admission while enjoying some of Wyoming's favorite fair foods.
