Before you head to the grounds, here are a few tips to make the most of your visit.

Frontier Park Is Cashless

Guests should plan to use a credit or debit card for most purchases throughout Frontier Park, including:

  • Parking
  • Gate admission
  • Carnival armbands
  • Tickets

Some independent vendors may still accept cash, but most transactions throughout the park are cashless.

Your $5 Gate Admission Goes a Long Way

A $5 daily gate admission includes access to Frontier Park, Old Frontier Town, the new Morning Star American Indian Village, live music throughout the grounds, the Behind the Chutes Tour, hundreds of vendors and food concessions.

In 2026, there’s even more to experience beyond the arena.

The new Morning Star American Indian Village is a permanent cultural destination developed in collaboration with Native partners. Designed with a fully accessible, circular layout centered around a dance arbor, the space creates a gathering place for music, storytelling, and cultural connection. With artisan booths, educational opportunities, and engagement with Native artists and performers, it adds a meaningful new dimension to CFD and invites visitors to connect more deeply with the region’s history.

Rendering of 3.8-acre Morning Star American Indian Village was developed in partnership with the Hughes Charitable Foundation as part of CFD’s Year of the American Indian, creating a permanent space for cultural celebration, education, and connection.

Planning to visit multiple days? A $25 Season Gate Pass covers all 10 days of the celebration.

Guests with same-day rodeo or concert tickets, carnival armbands or Old West Museum admission receive gate admission.

Several days also feature free gate admission:

  • Opening Day (July 17): 10:30 a.m.- Noon
  • Cheyenne Day (July 22): Laramie County residents with valid ID
  • Champion Sunday (July 26): 2-6 p.m.

Expect Two Ticket Scans

Rodeo and Frontier Nights guests will scan tickets when entering Frontier Patk and again at the arena. Have your tickets ready to help speed entry.
