Dear editor:
I just listened to the recording of the interview with Chuck Gray conducted on 6/2/26.
Dear Secretary Gray - Being the loudest and most rude person in the room does nothing to highlight what you will bring to the state.
It is not a good look when you use the entire time given to loudly talk over, continually interrupt, and attack the other person in a conversation.
I am not here to advocate for anything except common courtesy when talking with anyone - either an opponent or supporter.
The only thing I learned from that interview is that I never want to be in a conversation with you because you do not practice good listening skills.
This is a huge problem with politics today - people have lost the art of critical thinking and collaboration.
The focus seems to be to attack anyone who doesn't agree versus finding common ground and learning the art of consensus.
Personally, you have lost my vote as I don't believe we need another loud, rude person in DC.
Sincerely,
Lela Ladd, Cheyenne
