Dear editor:
Thank you Mr. Harrison for your legal prowess; your candor in sharing what the Wyoming Constitution states without supplying your own interpretation, or redefining key terms to suit a desired agenda.
I imagine that the original writers never thought that people would equate the respect and protection for life the same as killing life.
Remember our suffragettes not only for the right to vote, but also their staunch refusal of abortion. They warned that abortion would destroy families.
This has proven to be true, even in Wyoming; this charade of killing for the purpose to remain free – just another lie.
You are very correct in comparing the decisions of both courts to the contrived events likened to Roe vs Wade. Very specific criteria was promised, including gestation time.
We see that lie extended now to full term abortions. Maybe not here yet, but on the horizon.
A better option would be to call for these judges to rescind their ruling using those Wyoming values I hear constantly in response to decisions which cause confusion and interference in maintaining a quality of life grown here with reasonable laws to uphold constitutional rights.
If it isn’t apparent to people regarding the urgency of abortionists to continue their ways of exterminating life, then we have all accepted the lowest of standards and values.
Injuries during abortion still remain, especially with the use of chemicals. Numerous studies surface showing our water and land being inundated with the release of these chemicals; resistant to current purification processes; another fruit from the poison tree.
Nothing good will ever come from arbitrarily killing human life, just like conservationists alert the disparity in eco-systems when any life is eliminated or endangered.
Testimonies from past well-known abortion doctors have defined the abortion industry’s intent for power and wealth; NOT for better health!
Truth is difficult to accept when the consequences of abortion have murdered over 65 million babies since Roe vs Wade. Have we normalized killing our offspring in order to save the pride of doctors who succumbed to a lie?
When choice is used as a reason to kill an innocent life, it’s obviously the wrong choice; the sad reality is that there are better choices available however discounted by the abortionists.
After I read the study used in the Supreme Court a while ago, I was amazed that intelligent people were duped by a skewed report.
Deaths of the babies when counting deaths occurred during abortions vs deaths at childbirth were excluded. Extrapolating information from this is invalid. Since that particular study, others have surfaced debunking this one used in the last Supreme Court hearing.
Abortionists also promote redefining abortion as health care. Directives for healthy choices have always led to quality living without denying these opportunities for the life we conceive.
We used to teach Pillars of Character - trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
These served as a framework for teaching good character and promoting a positive environment.
Where are these values now?
Sincerely,
Kathleen A. Skarupinski, Cheyenne
