Letter To The Editor: What's Wrong With You Wyomingites?

Dear editor: What kind of people do you have there [in Wyoming] now? None of the Wyoming people I met were crazy -- they were salt of the earth.

Dear editor:

I lived in Wyoming for almost 10 years while attending UW back in the 70s-early 80s.

I made a lot of friends with Wyoming natives while there, we all thought alike on a variety of subjects.

Not one of them ever suggested taking snowmobiles and running down wolves (yes I know there were no wolves then), nor going out and spree killing big game, you never would of heard of such a thing, ever.

I would have stayed in Wyoming forever, but a good paying career type job never made it self available so I had to leave the state for greener pastures.

So my question is what kind of people do you have there now? None of the Wyoming people I met were crazy -- they were salt of the earth.

I am not sure even if I could, would I move back to Wyoming at this point.

I caucused for Dick Cheney when he was running for Congress for the first time, now Dick Cheney and his daughter are non gratis in Wyoming, what the hell is going on up there?

I guess common sense ain't so common anymore.

Sincerely,

Arthur Schwedler
