Chance for rain and snow with some winter weather advisories in effect in some areas of Wyoming on Wednesday, especially in southern and central Wyoming. Highs mostly in the 30s or 40s with a few low 50s. Most lows in the 20s.

Central:  

Casper:  There’s a chance of showers today and a slight chance of rain and snow before 9 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 45 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 31.  

Riverton:  There’s a slight chance of snow before 10 a.m., otherwise it should be partly sunny today with a high near 40 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 19.

Glenrock There’s a slight chance of rain today, otherwise look for it to be mostly cloudy with a high near 46 and overnight it should gradually become partly cloudy with a low near 25.  

Southwest:  

Evanston There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 10 p.m.  Snow is likely today and there’s a slight chance of snow before 9 p.m. tonight. Up to around 2 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be cloudy today with a high near 36 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 20.

Rock Springs:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly before 4 p.m., otherwise look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 38 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 20.    

Lyman There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 10 p.m.  Snow is possible today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy with a high near 39 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 23.

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  There’s a very slight chance of snow before 7 a.m. and patchy fog between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. is possible today. Otherwise expect it to be partly sunny with a high near 36 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 12. 

Alpine:  Watch for patchy fog in the morning. There’s a slight chance of snow between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today and there’s a chance of snow overnight, mainly after 3 a.m. Otherwise, look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near 34 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 24.

Big Piney:  There’s a slight chance of snow between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy with a high near 39 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 11.

Northwest:  

Dubois:  Look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near 39 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 19.

Jackson:  It should be partly sunny today with a high near 34 and partly cloudy overnight with a slight chance of snow after 4 a.m. and a low near 20.

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  Watch for patchy fog before 9 a.m. There’s a slight chance of snow after 1 p.m. today and a little better chance for snow mainly between 11 p.m. and midnight tonight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly sunny with a high near 33 today and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 18.

Bighorn Basin:  

Thermopolis Expect it to be partly sunny with a high near 48 today and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 25.

Cody:  Look for it to be mostly sunny today with a high near 48 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 27.

Greybull:  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 48 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 22.

North Central:  

Buffalo:  Expect it to be partly sunny today with a high near 47 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 29.

Sheridan:  It should be partly sunny today with a high near 52 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 23.

Ranchester:  Look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near 48 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 24.

Northeast:  

Gillette:  It should be partly sunny today with a high near 52 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 29. 

Sundance:  Look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 48 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 27.

Upton:  Expect it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 53 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 25.

Eastern Plains:  

Torrington:  There’s a chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m. today and a slight chance of rain before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, expect clouds to increase today with a high near 52 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 25.  

Douglas:  There’s slight chance of rain and snow today, otherwise it should be mostly cloudy with a high near 47 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 24.

Kaycee:   Look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 49 and it should gradually become mostly clear overnight with a low near 26.

Southeast:  

Cheyenne:  There’s a chance of rain, mainly after 5 p.m. today and a chance for rain then snow overnight. Otherwise expect clouds to increase today with a high near 48 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 26.

Laramie:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly after 4 p.m. today and overnight. Otherwise, look for clouds to increase today with a high near 39 and it should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 21.

Medicine Bow:  Snow and rain are likely today and there’s a chance of snow, mainly before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 35 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 21.

South Central:  

Rawlins:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 p.m. tonight. Snow, mainly after noon, is likely today and there’s a chance of snow before midnight tonight. Up to around 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 34 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 21.

Encampment:  Snow is near certain today and possible, mainly before midnight, tonight. Up to around 5 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, the high today should be near 35 and it should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 21. 

Baggs:  Rain and snow are likely today and there’s a chance of snow, mainly before 11 p.m., tonight. Otherwise, expect the high to be near 37 today and it should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 20.
