Snow will decrease in the afternoon, except for isolated showers in the west ending by sunset. Strong winds are expected in some areas (of course).

It’s Monday, February 6th – and snow showers are expected to develop across areas east of the Divide, but for the most part amounts should be on the light side. Snow will decrease in the afternoon, except for isolated showers in the west ending by sunset. Strong winds are expected in some areas (of course).

Central:

Snow showers likely this morning in Casper – less than an inch expected – with a high near 37; breezy, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Shoshoni can expect isolated snow showers before 10am, then gradual clearing, with a high near 24, but wind chill values as low as zero. Isolated snow showers in Riverton before 9am, then clearing, with a high near 29 and wind chill values as low as zero. 

Mostly clear tonight in Casper, with a low around 21; breezy, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Partly cloudy skies overnight in Shoshoni, with a low around -3, and wind chill values as low as -15. Tonight, mostly clear in Riverton, with a low around -2 and wind chill values as low as -15. 

Southwest:

There’s a 50 percent chance of snow in Evanston this morning, less than a half inch possible; otherwise mostly cloudy, with a high near 26, and wind chill values as low as 5. Partly sunny and blustery in Green River, with a high near 29 and wind chill values as low as zero; winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Scattered snow showers this morning in Cokeville, otherwise mostly cloudy, with a high near 22 and wind chill values as low as -5; blustery, with gusts as high as 23 mph. 

Mostly cloudy tonight in Evanston, with a low around 8 and wind chill values as low as -1. Green River can expect partly cloudy skies, with a low around 8, and wind chill values as low as -5. Mostly cloudy overnight in Cokeville, with a low around 1. 

Western Wyoming:

Mostly cloudy in Pinedale this morning, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 26 and wind chill values as low as -10; blustery, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Snow showers are likely near Thayne – less than a half inch possible – mainly before 11am, otherwise mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. Mostly sunny today in Big Piney, with a high near 23 and wind chill values as low as -15; blustery, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Partly cloudy overnight in Pinedale, with a low around 5 and wind chill values as low as -10; blustery, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Mostly cloudy tonight in Thayne, with a low around 13. Mostly clear overnight in Big Piney, with a low around -3 and wind chill values as low as -10. 

Northwest:

Mostly cloudy in Dubois this morning, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 34; breezy, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Snow showers are likely in Jackson this morning (less than a half inch expected), otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 28. Scattered snow showers this morning near the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park, otherwise mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. 

Overnight, Dubois can expect partly cloudy skies, with a low around 20; breezy, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Mostly cloudy tonight in Jackson, with a low around 11. Mostly cloudy near Yellowstone Lake, with a low around 8 and wind chill values as low as zero. 

Bighorn Basin:

Scattered snow showers in Worland this morning, then gradually clearing, with a high near 37; breezy, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Lovell can expect scattered snow showers, mainly before 9am; gradually becoming sunny and breezy, with a high near 44, and wind gusts as high as 28 mph. Mostly cloudy in Cody this morning, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 43; breezy, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Mostly clear overnight in Worland, with a low around 6, and wind chill values as low as zero. Mostly clear tonight in Lovell, with a low around 17. Cody can expect mostly clear skies overnight, with a low around 23; breezy, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

North Central:

A 40 percent chance of snow in Sheridan this morning (less than a half inch possible), then gradually clearing, with a high near 39; windy, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Scattered snow showers expected in Buffalo this morning (less than a half inch possible), then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 38; windy, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Clearmont has a 30 percent chance of snow before 11am (less than a half inch), then gradual clearing, with a high near 40; windy, with gusts as high as 40 mph. 

Mostly clear tonight in Sheridan, with a low around 19. Buffalo will see mostly clear skies overnight, with a low around 23. Mostly clear in Clearmont tonight, with a low around 18. 

Northeast:

Snow and wind expected today in Sundance, with a high near 33, and wind chill values as low as 16; new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Snow is likely in Gillette (less than an inch expected), mainly before 1pm, with a high near 37 and wind chill values as low as 18; breezy, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Moorcroft can expect less than an inch of snow, mainly before 2pm, with a high near 38 and wind chill values as low as 20; breezy, with gusts as high as 36 mph. 

Partly cloudy overnight in Sundance, with a low around 21 and wind chill values as low as 10. Mostly clear and breezy tonight in Gillette, with a low around 21 and wind chill values as low as 13; winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Partly cloudy in Moorcroft tonight, with a low around 20 and wind chill values as low as 13. 

Eastern Plains:

Both Douglas and Lusk have a 50 percent chance of snow today; mostly cloudy and windy, with a high near 35 and gusts as high as 40 mph. Scattered snow showers in Kaycee this morning, mainly before 10am; gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 39. 

Partly cloudy overnight in Douglas, with a low around 18. Mostly clear in Lusk tonight, with a low around 22; blustery, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Mostly clear in Kaycee overnight, with a low around 21. 

Southeast:

Partly sunny in Pine Bluffs today, with a high near 36; breezy, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Partly cloudy overnight in Cheyenne, with a low around 19; blustery, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Mostly cloudy tonight in Laramie, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 10 and wind chill values between zero and 10. South Central:
