Confirmed Wyoming Coronavirus Cases Rise to 137

Wyomings confirmed coronavirus cases grew to 137 by Wednesday evening as seven new cases were diagnosed by the Wyoming Department of Health, bringing the number of new cases reported during the day to 17.

Wyoming’s confirmed coronavirus cases grew to 137 by Wednesday evening as seven new cases were diagnosed by the Wyoming Department of Health, bringing the number of new cases reported during the day to 17.

The Health Department said the biggest increase of the day was seen in Laramie County, where eight new cases were reported through the day for a total of 35 by Wednesday evening.Laramie County had the state’s highest number of cases.

Teton County had 26; Fremont County had 25; Natrona County had 14; Sheridan County had 10; Johnson County had seven; Campbell County had five; Albany, Carbon and Sweetwater each had three cases, and Converse County had two. Goshen, Park, Sublette and Washakie counties each had one case.

According to the Health Department, 31 people who were infected with the coronavirus have fully recovered. Full recovery is achieved when a person goes for seven days without any symptoms of the illness.
