When I learned that a few attorneys paid for billboards across the state urging people to “stop the Freedom Caucus agenda,” I thought it was a waste of money.
These people won’t tell the voters what the agenda is they’re trying to stop, but I will, because I’m proud of what the Freedom Caucus has accomplished. Call it an “agenda” if you want to.
The Freedom Caucus passed a permanent 25% property tax cut that puts money back into the pockets of Wyoming homeowners and helped expand tax breaks for small businesses.
Our “agenda?” We believe that the people know how to spend their money better than the government can.
We worked with Secretary of State Chuck Gray to pass important election integrity legislation, including a bill ensuring that only U.S. citizens vote in Wyoming elections and another to cross-check other state data to remove non-citizens from our voter rolls.
American elections are for American citizens – an “agenda” item with overwhelming support nationwide.
The Freedom Caucus worked hard to protect women and girls in kindergarten through college and in all public institutions from men seeking to infiltrate their sports and spaces, because, unfortunately, this is happening in Wyoming.
We passed bills to get illegal aliens off Wyoming roads and to require CDL holders to know English.
We prioritized bonding reform for our oil producers, cut taxes on coal, and expanded school choice and strengthened parental rights.
Where’d we get this so-called “agenda?”
From the front doors, porch steps, town halls, and grocery store aisles.
Our priorities aren’t handed down from some unnamed bogeyman as some claim.
They’ve been handed up, from the people – from the grassroots – who we represent.
The Wyoming Freedom Caucus is a group of legislators who share a common ideology of limited government, individual liberty, and American exceptionalism. We are committed to upholding and defending the U.S. and Wyoming Constitutions.
We plan together, work together, and pray together in pursuit of policies that promote truth by protecting life, private property rights, and Judeo-Christian family values.
Is this an “agenda” I’m proud to fight for? You bet. If you have any questions, please reach out to me. (307) 359-1120
