Incumbent Ken Clouston beat his opponent to retain his seat in House District 32 in what was one of the most heavily watched races in Campbell County.

Clouston, who held a steady lead throughout the night, beat George Dunlap 1,062 to 706 votes in the unofficial count that came in around 10:30 p.m.

“It has been an honor to serve as the representatives for House District 32 for these last two years, and I am humbled by the continued support,” Clouston told Cowboy State Daily. “I am very proud of what we've accomplished over the last two years, and I look forward to continuing to serve and advance the needs for Campbell County and the state of Wyoming in the future.”

Clouston, owner of Gillette Physical Therapy and a former Campbell County School District board member, was first elected to the Legislature in 2022.

During a watch party earlier in the evening, Clouston said he would be fine with the results regardless.

With another term ahead, Clouston said he would continue to prioritize education and health issues.

Dunlap was also well known in local politics and served 28 years on the Campbell County Health Board of Trustees as well as being a founding member of the local Rotary Club.

Dunlap did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Clouston said he wants to pass a medical insurance credentialing bill to better streamline payments between insurance companies and medical providers.

He also plans to bring a bill that would expand the field of medical practitioners who can make people who have recently received back or leg surgeries eligible for handicap status.

He also wants to lower workers’ compensation costs in Wyoming among other goals.
