The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday afternoon announced that a person of interest related to a double homicide in Natrona County has been found.
Luke Thomas Young, 26, was and remains to be a person of interest in the murders which occurred in Natrona County on Tuesday night, according to Natrona County Sheriff’s spokesperson Kiera Grogan.
Grogan could not provide any details about the double homicide or the weapon used as it’s an active investigation.
The homicide occurred in the area west of the Natrona County International Airport, she said.
Earlier in the day, the sheriff’s office sent out a notice warning people about Young stating that he was considered armed and dangerous with outstanding warrants outside of Natrona County.
Further, the office warned the public to take extra precautions and avoid picking up hitchhikers.
