CASPER - The Casper Police Department is investigating two separate shooting and three victims from incidents Sunday evening.
Police Captain Jeremy Tremel said investigators were actively working scenes at Fox Hill Apartments in the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue and at the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Multiple police vehicles were idling in the packed parking lot of Foxhill Apartments at 9:30 p.m. where police reported officers responded to a call about a traumatic injury at 6:50 p.m. and additional 911 callers reported hearing gunshots.
“When officers arrived on the scene, they located two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds,” police reported. “Both were transported to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for treatment.”
While officers were responding to the South Missouri incident, an unrelated call came in reporting a shooting in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
That block, just west of Conwell Park, is also blocked off on East First Street with police vehicles at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
One person from that scene was transported to Banner Wyoming Medical Center.
Tremel said since both scenes are still being investigated, he was not going to release any additional information until morning. He declined to answer questions about the status, age and sex of victims or whether any arrests have been made.
The public has been asked to avoid both scenes.
