If you want proof that the Trump administration is a vast improvement over Joe Biden’s presidency, we need only look to our Southern Border – according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, daily border encounters are down by 93 percent, gotaway encounters are down 95 percent, and migrant crossings are down a whopping 99.99 percent.
Where I come from, that’s called an upgrade. And in the first 100 days of the second Trump presidency — a milestone marked on the last day of April— the President has fixed a lot of what Biden and Kamala Harris broke, and he’s on track to do a lot more.
Of course, the legacy media doesn’t want you to know that, so they push false narratives like the idea that Trump voters regret their choice last November.
That’s why it must have been painful for them when CNN’s data guru Harry Enten revealed that just two percent of Trump voters now say they wish they had not voted for him.
That’s about the same as Harris voters who say they regret their vote, so it’s effectively a wash, and the people who returned Trump to the White House remain happy they did so.
And the reasons ought to be obvious, because the President has done exactly what he said he would do. In 100 days, Trump has taken a wrecking ball to the political status quo and reminded Americans that they finally have a President who works for them, not for think tanks, foreign governments, or online mobs. The professional left hates it, which tells you it’s working.
Democrats and the media have squealed the loudest about immigration—even going as far as traveling to El Salvador in misguided and failed attempts to rescue a deported illegal alien—but there is so much more.
In bold strokes that should have surprised no one, Trump reordered world trade by imposing, or in some cases merely threatening, tariffs on goods imported into the United States by countries around the world.
It is not disputed that America has been getting ripped off in international trade for decades, and Trump is in the process of fixing it.
Dozens of countries have begged for negotiations, an occurrence that would never have happened without the President’s actions, and any fluctuations in the stock market should be seen as temporary, as the long-term success of trade strategy should not be measured in one-week snapshots.
As a result, the U.S. manufacturing sector has been strengthened, jobs are being onshored again, and new investment by private companies in this country is now measured in the trillions of dollars. Jobs are rebounding, with 228,000 added in March—almost 100,000 more than predicted—and 151,000 also added in February.
Unlike during the Biden administration, almost all of these are in the private sector, not government jobs.
And speaking of the federal government, the President is cutting the absurd waste, fraud and abuse in spending.
Once again, Democrats and their media allies feigned surprise and expressed outrage in Trump’s creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), even though the President specifically announced that plan two months before Election Day. By targeting bloated budgets, redundant programs, and inefficient regulations, DOGE has saved billions, ensuring taxpayer dollars are used effectively.
Trump has unleashed American energy: more drilling, more permits, more coal, with more exploration both on federal land and offshore. At the same time, he’s repealing the anti-energy executive orders from the last administration that helped drive prices through the roof. That means lower fuel costs, more affordable food, more jobs, and less dependence on countries that hate us.
Inflation is down, gasoline is cheaper, and the devastating Biden policies are fading like the bad nightmare they were.
Importantly, Trump has gutted racist and harmful “diversity, equity and inclusion” programs in government and institutions, and curbed radical gender ideology, restoring common-sense values. By eliminating policies that prioritize identity over merit, he has fostered fairness and unity.
His steps toward protecting parental rights, safeguarding women’s sports and spaces, and refocusing education on truth and excellence have reinforced a cultural shift toward reason and individual dignity.
The bottom line is that these first 100 days have proven that President Trump is still the same fighter who flipped the script in 2016. He’s fearless, focused, and laser-locked on making America strong again — at the border, on the world stage, and in your wallet.
