Dear Editor:
To paraphrase a humor bit from the Rush Limbaugh show: "Gubmit got us in to this mess and gubmit gonna get us out."
This is essentially the message from the BLM representative regarding the feral horse issue in Wyoming. This I heard during the YouTube Wyoming legislature presentation on Nov. 13, 2023. But government is not going to get anyone out of this entangled, cross-purpose and intentionally counter-productive mess.
Please remember that even though several of the elected Wyoming representatives are trying to be reasonable in dealing with the federal government, it is currently a significant adversarial relationship.
The lowly bearded BLM [official] who spoke today may not be a political appointee, but his bosses certainly are. The Biden administration (and likely holdovers from the Obama administration) are leftists, are not traditional Democrats, and have radical anti-American and anti-human motivations. Rationales aired today are meaningless from the federal point of view. We are the enemy and they are working against us every day in every way.
Citizens, please understand.
