Dear editor,

I believe that books indicating how to perform certain sexual acts should not available in the children or teen sections of a library. However, those books should be available in the adult section and if a parent wants their child to have access to a book of that nature, they can check it out for their child.

Membership in WLA and ALA are very important for all libraries. The resources and information they provide are valuable to our libraries. I encourage all Wyoming libraries to maintain your membership. You don't throw the baby out just because the bathwater has a bit of dirt in it.

When I move back to my home in Wyoming I hope my library will still believe in freedom of speech and access to materials that others (including myself) may not appreciate.

Sincerely,

Diana McKinney
