Cheyenne City Council member Johnson sounds more and more like a transplant from California.
The notion that plastic bags are filling up the refuse dump is absurd. Why not tax milk cartons which take up much more space?
Moreover, as the use of plastic and paper bags is discouraged, shoppers will be encouraged to use cloth bags, which eventually become havens for various sorts of unhealthy bugs.
And if you’d like to see the result of decriminalizing marijuana, go visit 16th Street in Denver, where you’ll be greeted by an array of losers, dopers, crazies and other outstanding citizens.
Has Johnson ever been to San Francisco, Portland or Seattle to observe what his type of suggestions yield?
