Letter To The Editor: Thank God For Don Day!

Dear Editor,

I travel for work and in doing so I cover a good part of the area that surrounds Wyoming. Spending many nights in hotel rooms and watching the weather channel over a hotel breakfast.

One thing I have concluded is that we are all doomed to be destroyed in some great storm. Rather than forecasting and reporting actual conditions, it seems the weather channel has turned to predicting impending doom and disaster on all fronts.

If it’s not the bomb cyclones and tornadoes that are going to destroy us, our fate will be met in the freezer of the great polar vortex!

What caused this change from plain old weather forecasting and reporting to drama filled doomsday predictions?

I do not know for sure, but I believe it’s part sensationalism driven and part of the ever increasing push to get us all to admit that climate change is going to destroy us all.

Buffalo Chips is all it really is.

Thank God for Don Day, I much prefer his weather forecasting.
