It’s Thursday, April 13 – and we’re in the middle of a warming/cooling pattern here in the Cowboy State, a typical April pattern. While the warm weather is welcomed in the eastern part of the state (up into the 80s near the Nebraska border), the western part of the state will see more snow today, and winds will blow throughout Wyoming.

A quick moving front will pass through today, which may bring some light snow to western mountains, otherwise it will remain dry and mostly sunny across the area into next week. With the recent snow, flooding concerns are elevated for the next 5 to 6 days, as daytime temperatures rise to well above freezing.

Casper received 27 inches of snow which makes it the snowiest day on record with records going back to 1937. Snow will continue in many areas of the state today.
