Lori Van Pelt

Lori Van Pelt is a Spur award-winning author and three-time Spur finalist in nonfiction and short fiction. She is the author of four nonfiction books. Her articles have appeared in regional and national magazines, including The Writer and Aviation History, and she won a creative writing fellowship in poetry from the Wyoming Arts Council. She served for a number of years as the assistant editor of Wyohistory.org She was reared on a western Nebraska wheat farm lived in Wyoming for more than 30 years.
