Dick Perue
R. Richard Perue retired from his role as owner-publisher of the Saratoga Sun newspaper in 1982 and soon thereafter formed a new company Historical Reproductions by Perue. He spends his time researching and writing the history of the Saratoga and Encampment area. He started work as a printer’s devil at age 15 and he continues to operate the hand-pumped press he learned on during activities at the Grand Encampment Museum, or working at his former company Perue Printing in Saratoga.
