President Trump has been working tirelessly carrying out his priorities during his first six months in office, and Wyomingites value that he is staying true to his campaign promises.
Appointing Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to head the Department of Health and Human Services was a bold move proving his seriousness to “Make America Healthy Again (MAHA)”.
President Trump established the MAHA Commission and tasked them with investigating and addressing the root causes of America’s escalating health crisis, focusing first on childhood chronic disease.
On May 23, 2025, I humbly entered the East Entrance to the White House representing the Republicans of House District 50 that elected me.
I accepted an invitation by the president to attend the MAHA Commission Briefing.
I would be remiss, if I failed to mention I am the second Park County legislator to have been invited to the White House by the President this year. Rep. Nina Webber-HD24 had the pleasure of attending the Easter Egg Roll in the Rose Garden.
Sec. Kennedys’ passion for a healthier America is contagious and the number of physicians present at the briefing were full of enthusiasm.
The MAHA Commission reported that America will begin reversing the childhood chronic disease crisis during this administration by getting to the truth of why childhood disease is on the rise.
Members of the MAHA Commission disclosed a shared understanding of the crisis and the desire to spur pro-growth policies and innovations to reverse the crisis.
The MAHA report informs us that we need to change things, and moving forward as a nation we have to have nuanced conversations.
As the chairman of the House Labor, Health and Social Services Committee, I can tell you we are having these conversations in Wyoming.
As a MAHA mom and your representative, I am committed to helping carry out Secretary Kennedy's policy recommendations and I hope to encourage everyone to be part of the solution as this administration develops strategies to make our children healthy again.
Wyoming is Trump country, and I am immensely grateful to President Trump for making health a priority.
