Dear editor:

If anyone still has those "Keep Public Lands In Public Hands" bumper stickers, send them to Sens. Barrasso and Lummis.

They claim to represent the interests of Wyoming, while they vote to sell off Wyoming public lands.

According to [some media reports], the majority of Wyomingites oppose the sale of our public lands.

Now, if you haven't followed what the majority party has admitted to being up to, you might be wondering what's up with selling our public lands.

Well, the object of selling off our lands and thoughtlessly butchering our critical infrastructure, is to raise more money that the "Burglar - Bungler - in - Chief" can use, with the aid of magical math, to rationalize the giving the wealthiest 1%, another tax cut.

If this is allowed to go through, along with the loss of our most essential benefits, it will be the largest theft of American wealth and well-being in our country's history.

Sincerely,

Bill Douglas
