A Wyoming-based medical clinic is making waves on the national and international stage, drawing top-tier professional athletes to Casper and Gillette for world-class orthopedic treatment.

The McGinley Clinic, founded by renowned physician Dr. Joseph McGinley, has built a reputation for revolutionary, minimally-invasive treatments for common orthopedic problems — and now, its name will be showcased at the highest levels of motorsports as the title sponsor for Indy NXT Team Andretti racer Lochie Hughes.

From Casper to Indy NXT Circuit

Hughes, the reigning USF Pro 2000 Champion, recently signed with Andretti Global, one of the most prestigious teams in motorsports.

However, his rise to the top almost didn’t happen. In late 2023, Hughes struggled with severe arm pump, a condition that threatened his career as the demands of high-speed racing intensified.

Searching for a solution, he turned to The McGinley Clinic, where Dr. McGinley’s minimally-invasive approach allowed him to recover quickly and dominate the 2024 season.

"Going into the 2024 season, I was struggling with severe arm pump, which at the time was a genuine threat to my racing career, especially as the cars were getting bigger, faster, and more demanding on the body," Hughes said.

"I was fortunate to come across Dr. McGinley and The McGinley Clinic, who provided minimally invasive treatment and got me back on track with little downtime," he said.

This was instrumental in my 2024 championship campaign, where I secured the USF Pro 2000 championship and a scholarship to race in Indy NXT, with Andretti Global," he added.

After our success both on and off the track in 2024, I couldn't be happier to be working with The McGinley Clinic this season and am proud to have them on board as my title sponsor," Hughes said.

Why Athletes Travel to Wyoming

Lochie Hughes is just one of many professional athletes turning to The McGinley Clinic for specialized orthopedic care.

The McGinley Clinic is at the forefront of sports medicine and orthopedic innovation, using advanced imaging, minimally invasive procedures, and custom treatment plans tailored to the unique demands of high-performance sports.

From motorsports and rodeo to endurance athletes and extreme sports, professionals are seeking out Dr. McGinley’s and his team’s expertise to keep them at peak performance.

"We were honored to help Lochie overcome arm pump and return to peak performance," Dr. Joseph McGinley said. "His dedication and talent are truly exceptional, and we were thrilled to see him join the Andretti team."

Now, as his title sponsor, The McGinley Clinic will be showcased on an international stage, representing the highest standard of orthopedic care for professional athletes worldwide," McGinley said.

The McGinley Clinic’s growing reputation has made Wyoming a destination for medical tourism, with athletes traveling from across the country and around the world to seek out state-of-the-art treatments in Casper and Gillette.

More Than Just Professional Athletes

While The McGinley Clinic has gained international recognition for treating top-tier competitors, its services are not just for professionals.

Amateur athletes, student-athletes, non-athletes and anyone suffering from orthopedic issues such as arthritis, back pain, joint pain, rotator cuff issues, knee issues, plantar fasciitis, Achilles problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytren's contracture, and tennis elbow can benefit from the same cutting-edge technology and expertise that helps professionals return to peak performance.

As the Indy NXT season unfolds, The McGinley Clinic’s name will be front and center, reinforcing its status as a leader in orthopedic innovation — and proving that world-class medical care can be found in the heart of Wyoming.
