Today's bonus out-of-state sunrise was captured by Joe Grote at Kahala Beach on Oahu.
Joseph writes, "Ok this is obviously not a Wyoming sunrise but this sunrise is a 2 min walk from our house where we have lived for 52 years and often walk down to start our day.
The Beatles song 'Here Comes the Sun' often goes through my mind as I watch our star show up moving further south along the horizon as the winter solstice approaches.
The magic of the morning sounds filled with waves crashing on the reef and bird song add to that special visual feast we get every morning on this good earth.
I have recently subscribed to the Cowboy State Daily and enjoy the sunrise photos as well as the outdoor articles. Please keep up the good work."
