Note From The Editor:
Cowboy State Daily, Wyoming’s largest news organization, will cover the 2024 Wyoming primary election on Tuesday evening with live video coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Wendy Corr, Director of Broadcast, will anchor the coverage with live reports from all over the state.
Led by political reporter Leo Wolfson, our team of reporters will be in Cheyenne, Casper, Cody, Riverton, Gillette, Buffalo, Jackson, Pinedale, Rock Springs, Lusk, and Thermopolis.
During the 2 1/2 hour-plus live video broadcast, a group of panelists will discuss the election and the state of politics in Wyoming.
Wendy will moderate the panel of politicos, which includes Cowboy State Daily columnists Bill Sniffin, Rod Miller, and Tom Lubnau; and political commentators Liz Brimmer, Rob Wallace, and Cassie Craven.
Columnists Dave Simpson and Joan Barron were invited but not able to attend.
Confirmed guests for the evening include: U.S. Sens. John Barrasso, Cynthia Lummis, U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, former U.S., Sen. Al Simpson, and former Govs. Mike Sullivan and Dave Freudenthal.
Other guests have been invited and we look forward to confirming them.
Gov. Mark Gordon was invited to attend but declined.
Not only will we have live video coverage for the evening, we will have a live chat platform (like we did two years ago) containing breaking news and results.
And, of course, we will be writing many articles about the night’s events.
Thank you to political reporter Leo Wolfson for putting together our election coverage and Wendy Corr for creating our live video coverage.
