Today's Wyoming sunrise was taken on Gannett Peak (Wyoming's highest mountain peak) on the north side of Gooseneck Pinnacle by Ethan Smith of Casper, Wyoming.
Ethan writes, "Sunrise photo was taken on 7/26 at 05:50am during the ascent of Gannett Peak (Wyoming's High Point at 13,810 feet) on the north side of Gooseneck Pinnacle at about 12,375 feet.Summit occurred at approximately 08:10am.
"Elsa (turned two on July 15th) climbed the entire route without assistance other than about 20 feet of snow that was too vertical for her to get traction. I kept her on a short climbing rope for safety sake during all the snow traversing."
