It’s Sunday, May 7 – and while snow and rain are still forecast for the western part of the state, mild temperatures return in the east, with highs reaching near to above average for this time of year across the area. Skies across much of the state will be partly sunny, with a chance for scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms once again. It will gradually warm up next week, but isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue to hang around.
Central:
