It’s Sunday, February 12th – and we’re in between weather patterns today. Mostly sunny skies across the region, and just a bit warmer in some places around the Cowboy State. Looking ahead, though, be prepared for some heavy snow to enter the state by Tuesday.
Central:
Mostly cloudy this morning in Riverton, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 26 and wind chill values as low as -5. Partly sunny in Shoshoni, with a high near 21 and wind chill values as low as -10. Casper can expect partly sunny skies, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 40; breezy with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Mostly cloudy in Riverton overnight, with a low around -2. Partly cloudy tonight in Shoshoni, with a low around -5. Mostly clear overnight in Casper, with a low around 24.
Southwest:
Mostly sunny in Evanston today, with a high near 32, but wind chill values as low as zero. Mostly sunny in Kemmerer, with a high near 36, but wind chill values as low as -5. In Green River, mostly cloudy today, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 30, and wind chill values as low as zero.
Overnight, mostly clear in Evanston, with a low around 4 and wind chill values as low as -4. Partly cloudy tonight in Kemmerer, with a low around 2, and wind chill values as low as -5. Mostly clear in Green River tonight, with a low around 0.
Western Wyoming:
Sunny today in Alpine, with a high near 34. Sunny in Pinedale, with a high near 35, but wind chill values as low as -10. Big Piney can expect mostly cloudy skies through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 28, but wind chill values as low as -15.
