A pilot survived a plane crash Friday afternoon east of Laramie, Wyoming, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Authorities report the plane went down at about 2:40 p.m. near milepost 327 of Interstate 80. The pilot walked away from the crash without injuries, the report says.
“Troopers arrived on the scene to find the small single-engine aircraft that had crashed beside the Interstate,” the report said. “The female pilot was not injured in the crash and was the aircraft’s sole occupant.”
The aircraft was reportedly flying from British Columbia and headed to Florida.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office, Vedauwoo Volunteer Fire Department, Albany County Central Volunteers, and Laramie Fire Department/EMS also responded to the incident.
