Six More COVID Deaths in Wyoming; Brings Total to 93

Six more Wyoming residents have died after testing positive for the coronavirus, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Tuesday.

Six more Wyoming residents have died after testing positive for the coronavirus, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Tuesday.

The department said four of the six died last month, while the other two died within the last week. All six had pre-existing health conditions known to put patients at a higher risk of complications from COVID.

The deaths bring to 93 the number of Wyoming residents whose deaths were related to coronavirus.

Two of the victims were Converse County residents, an older woman who lived at a long-term care facility and died within the last week and an older man who died last month. Both were hospitalized for treatment of the illness.

The other victims were:

An older Natrona County man who lived at a long-term care facility and who died after being hospitalized;

An older Platte County man who died last month;

An older Sheridan County woman who died last week after being hospitalized for treatment, and 

An older Teton County man who died last month.
