A Fremont County woman has become the 17th Wyoming resident to die as a result of the coronavirus, according to the Department of Health.
The department, in a news release Sunday, said the woman had been hospitalized for treatment of coronavirus, but did not have any known conditions that would have put her at a high risk of complications from coronavirus.
The woman is the second Fremont County coronavirus patient to die in less than a week. The department announced Friday an older woman with underlying health conditions had died as a result of the virus.
