Dear editor:
Politics in Wyoming, as red as it may seem, can be opaque at some times. From label games to party affiliation, it is not clear on who to trust.
However, we conservative Wyoming students see Mr. Chuck Gray as the one of if not the best conservative to hail from our state.
Mr. Gray has been a tireless fighter for the conservative cause and by tireless we truly mean that this man is on a mission for our state.
He drives himself day and night across the state to offer transparency on the duties of Secretary of State, including the various tasks his office faces in service to the state.
We have observed this trait recently in Mr. Gray's strong opposition to the rapid data center developments across the state, which are damaging the quality of life for all Wyomingites. He is not afraid to take a stand when others aren’t.
Mr. Gray has also shown that he takes no heed to what the liberal and RINO establishment opposition throws at him, often calling them out himself with a public audience. This defiance stands out to us in an environment rife with gatekeeping.
In a struggle for young people to be heard, Mr. Gray takes time to be attentive to our ideas and conversations.
He is more than happy to visit with each one of us and is truly interested in what the future of this state has in store.
He has been supportive of Turning Point USA’s establishment throughout the state so that conservative students can politically organize and gain opportunities to help this great state.
Many of us first time and second time voters have cast doubts on how safe our election process is from interference.
Mr. Gray is a standout for us in his commitment to secure Wyoming 's elections in efforts like proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
He’s passionate about opportunities for students to have a fair shot at succeeding in our state which can be shown by his conservative beliefs on immigration and education.
His concern over Wyoming’s coal and broader energy industry has demonstrated a commitment to the state’s continued success and that of the livelihood of its workers, as well as those interested in pursuing an education in energy resources.
Mr. Gray’s stance of America First and not seeing the United States in unnecessary entanglements eases our worries of conflicts abroad, which undoubtedly would have an effect on our demographic the most.
Mr. Gray is a man of faith, and his love of Christ stands out to a generation clamoring for genuine Christians in public office.
He is mindful of religion in our lives and leans on Christ in prayer for guidance and resilience, which is something he encourages us to also do.
He is acutely aware of the foundations of our nation and state, which carries incredible weight with young patriots.
Chuck Gray loves Wyoming, as his first impression can be demonstrated by an offer of his card with his personal number, that each of us have, and a tour of the Wyoming capitol complex.
The gravitas of our state capitol paired with Mr. Gray’s commentary of our state's history is inspiring to each student he has guided. He explains the formative events of our state as if he was in attendance to every one and that gives us the confidence to know that he truly loves the state and its people.
We can be confident in Mr. Gray’s conservative virtues and that he will be a force for American patriots now and for the foreseeable future, which gives all of us great hope in his success.
Wyoming students like us support Chuck Gray for congress because unlike most politicians, he has taken the time to hear us, help us, and mentor us. That is the type of congressman Wyoming needs.
Sincerely,
