Dear editor:
I am extremely frustrated that Wyoming keeps electing people that do not follow the rule of law. Barrasso and Lummis are basically Trump's puppets at this point and do not have much backbone at all.
Harriet Hageman beat Liz Cheney in a primary and Cheney was one of the few people who had a backbone and was willing to admit the truth. Wyoming needs to know the truth about Trump.
Hageman is one of the main members of Congress who support the cover-up of the Epstein Files.
Barrasso, Lummis, and Hageman all support the largest cut to health care in history which will damage our rural health care system.
So Wyoming residents are going to have to go out of state for necessary care which is unacceptable. N
one of our delegation had the backbone to vote with the Wyoming people.
They all are covering up the Epstein Files in which they all support protecting pedophiles all to protect Trump.
Trump is the most dangerous person to ever hold the presidency and these files are just more proof.
There are probably at least a couple thousand Wyoming who have been picked up on the streets and you are all cheering and clapping along.
Trump said he would only deport the worst of the worst, and yet over 90% of deportations have involved people with no criminal record.
We have more chaos than ever overseas with Venezuela and Russia. Congress has the sole power to declare but yet you all are cheering Trump on.
It all should have been over after January 6 when Trump incited a deadly attack on our capitol because he did not like the election results of 2020.
Barrasso and Lummis should have had the nerves to tell him it was not ok. But instead they were lapdogs of Trump and were some of the people that helped Trump get back into power.
Liz Cheney showed bravery, while Barrasso, Lummis, and Hageman have been cheering Trump on.
We are facing the most consequential time in American history and the first time since the Civil War where our democracy is at stake.
This is not a time for blaming Democrats or Republicans, this is the time to do what is morally right. Cynthia Lummis you are leaving the Senate after your term it is time to do what is right.
The Wyoming voters have a huge decision to make in 2026. Are we going to follow democracy, or are we going to support dictatorship.
