Dear editor:
I am deeply saddened and outraged by the senseless shooting that claimed the life of Charlie Kirk, a husband, father, and national voice for young conservatives.
He is someone that inspired many to join the grassroots conservative movement.
There is no justification for violence against a fellow American.
In our republic, we may disagree passionately on politics and policy, but those disagreements must always be addressed through dialogue
My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie’s family and Turning Point, USA during this difficult time.
This tragedy should inspire young conservatives not to be silenced and continue to engage others they disagree with just as Charlie did on college campuses.
