Cassie Craven: Charlie Kirk's Death Signifies A Spiritual Showdown

Columnist Cassie Craven writes, “I believe Charlie Kirk was killed because he was influencing people to live like Christ. And dark forces killed him. Period. That is the battle. And if you’re worried about everything else, you better prepare for the battle that is actually at your door."

These aren’t just people being mean or uncouth online.

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death has exposed who is in the Holy Spirit and who is not. It is a spiritual awakening. A true turning point. A reformation is occurring not just in America, but across the world.

I could discuss transgenderism and its correlation with violent crime. I could elaborate on the void left in our country that will require an uprising to fill.

I could discuss the role that other countries could have had in this assassination in light of Candace Owens’ statements and Kirk’s declined meeting with Israel two weeks prior to his death.

But instead, let us cleanse the palate, so to speak, and remember that none of that really matters.

Now is the time we must go inward to our homes. To the people who love us the most. We are raising the next generation of Esthers and Davids.

The 22nd chapter of Revelation reminds us who’s in charge:

“My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

While we may wish to change the news cycle, the grief won’t leave our minds. It circles every conversation we’ve had in the last week with colleagues and friends. For me, seeing people laugh and allude that Kirk deserved being executed in front of his family is almost unbearable.

I can handle ill-informed liberal rantings on social media. They make the “snooze” and “unfollow” buttons for a reason.

This is something different. This is something darker.

To believe that a young, godly man who loved his country should be shot in front of his children is evil.

To point to what you believe are “ironic” positions on Second Amendment conversations taken out of context, is to say he deserved it. Something far more sinister is being ignited upon the death of Kirk, who some say may reach martyr status.

I see the strength in his wife as being a dominant force moving forward.

Society as a whole is also experiencing a certain level of trauma and PTSD after witnessing video of the execution footage. We just witnessed a Kennedy-style assassination in vivid detail.

Some leftists laugh and joke as though Kirk were a pawn on a chess board, a character in Call of Duty to be eliminated, and worth a giggle.

It’s sick. This world is evil. The only saving grace is that when we die we are returned to our Savior in Heaven and delivered from this broken world. Again, the most important work we can all do right now is praying with our families.

Heal your homes. Read the Bible. Find a church. Watch a church online. Help your neighbor. And remember who the boss is.

Also, hold the line.

Satan is the father of lies. Keep telling the truth. Tolerating what is wrong does not make you virtuous. No matter the cost. If your price is anything other than your life, then you are for sale.

In our own backyard, liberal extremist social media posts have occurred before.

While the left proclaims these posts are always harmless or taken out of context, they fail to recognize the mental illness and vulnerabilities of some of the populations they represent.

These are not the bleeding-heart liberals of past decades. The people who sketched bullets with the twisted words that killed Charlie Kirk are pure evil.

The people who call conservative Americans who fight for family values and common sense, “fascist” or “neo-nazi,” and who prey upon the vulnerable for their own benefits of power, want to destroy America.

I believe Charlie Kirk was killed because he was influencing people to live like Christ. And dark forces killed him. Period. That is the battle.

And if you’re worried about everything else, you better prepare for the battle that is actually at your door. Wake up and prepare for the ultimate battle.

White suit, pale blonde hair, a former Miss Arizona, now warrior princess stood steady, yet crying. Her soul at peace, but the widow’s grief weighing heavy. Two toddlers at home and no answers other than, there must be a plan.

There is a plan. Time for you to decide which side of that plan you’re on.
