The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office reports Thursday mornign that it is still seeking a potentially "armed and dangerous" 18-year-old man suspected of shooting a 19-year-old man Tuesday, then fleeing the scene.
Kamren Crousore, 18, shot a 19-year-old man in a home on Echeta Road near Gillette, Wyoming, during an argument, says a statement the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office sent Thursday to Cowboy State Daily.
He's described as a white adult male with blue eyes and brown hair, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 120 pounds.
The 19-year-old was hurt and taken to the Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
He’s since been life-flighted out of Gillette, Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds told Cowboy State Daily during a Thursday phone interview.
Crousore fled the scene in a vehicle before deputies arrived, the Sheriff’s Office said. They were called to the scene at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. Sheriff’s personnel have since found that vehicle, and Crousore is no longer with it, said Reynolds.
“We’d like to talk to him,” the undersheriff added.
The statement says authorities are seeking criminal charges for Crousore, and warn the public that “he should be considered armed and dangerous.”
Crousore's artist-profile Facebook page, which features rap music, says he lives in Gillette and hails from Sumter, South Carolina. In one of his rap videos on Youtube, Crousore lamented about going to jail.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is available.
