Letter To The Editor: Why Are Your News Stories So Violent?

Dear editor: We have so many unusual and good stories from a small town or small state to share, do we need to hear these issues more typical of a big city?

Dear editor:

My wife and I enjoy waking up to Cowboy State Daily and after a few of our sunrise pictures being published - we have introduced the newspaper to several out of state friends.

One recently commented, "For a small population, you sure do have a violent group!"

After that comment, I have paid attention to the articles included and they are correct! Today's is a typical day of - well crazy stuff . . . .

Can you shoot a vicious dog?

Man tries to blow up his neighbors home with his truck.

Husband firing shotgun at fleeing wife.

We have so many unusual and good stories from a small town or small state to share, do we need to hear these issues more typical of a big city?

My three cents.
