Sunny in much of Wyoming on Friday with a chance for afternoon or evening snow. Blowing snow in some areas with wind gusts as high as 50 mph. Highs from the low 20s to mid 40s. Lows from single digits to the low 30s. 

 

Central:  

Casper:  Slight chance of snow after 5 p.m., patchy blowing snow, otherwise mostly sunny and windy today with a high near 31 and wind gusts as high as 41 mph. Mostly cloudy and windy overnight with a chance of snow mainly after 11 p.m., patchy blowing snow, a low near 24 and wind gusts as high as 40 mph.

 

Riverton:  Patchy fog before 9 a.m., otherwise mostly sunny today with a high near 26 and mostly cloudy overnight with a slight chance of snow after 4 a.m. and a low near 11.

 

Glenrock:  Sunny and breezy today with a high near 33 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Mostly cloudy and breezy overnight with snow likely mainly after 11 p.m., patchy blowing snow after 11 p.m., a low near 31 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph.

 

Southwest:  

Evanston Mostly sunny today with a high near 30 and snow likely overnight with a low near 16.

  

Green River:  Mostly sunny and breezy today with a high near 32 and wind gusts as high as 25 mph. Mostly cloudy and breezy overnight with a chance of snow mainly before 2 a.m., a low near 19 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph.

 

South Pass:  Chance of snow after 4 p.m., otherwise mostly sunny and breezy today with a high near 23 and wind gusts as high as 25 mph. Mostly cloudy and breezy overnight with a chance of snow, patchy blowing snow, a low near 10 and wind gusts as high as 31 mph.

 

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  Chance of snow after 4 p.m., increasing clouds and blustery today with a high near 27 and wind gusts as high as 22 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow mainly after 9 p.m. and a low near 7.

 

Alpine:  Chance of snow mainly after 5 p.m., increasing clouds today with a high near 26 and up to 7 inches of snow (heavy at times) near certain overnight with a low near 17.

 

Big Piney:  Slight chance of snow after 5 p.m., patchy fog before 8 a.m., increasing clouds today with a high near 28 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow and a low near 4.

 

Northwest:  

Dubois Chance of snow mainly after 4 p.m., patchy blowing snow before noon, increasing clouds and breezy today with a high near 36 and wind gusts as high as 28 mph. Mostly cloudy and breezy overnight with a chance of snow mainly before 3 a.m., patchy blowing snow, a low near 18 and wind gusts as high as 34 mph.

 

Jackson:  Chance of snow mainly after 4 p.m., increasing clouds today with a high near 27 and up to 4 inches of snow near certain overnight with a low near 14.

 

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  Chance of snow mainly after 4 p.m., increasing clouds today with a high near 22 and up to 3 inches of snow near certain overnight with a low near 8.

 

Bighorn Basin:  

Thermopolis Mostly sunny today with a high near 32 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow mainly after 3 a.m. and a low near 16.

 

Cody:  Increasing clouds and breezy today with a high near 40 and wind gusts as high as 29 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight with a slight chance of snow, a low near 21 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph.

 

Worland:  Patchy fog before 7 a.m., slight chance of snow after 5 p.m., otherwise mostly sunny today with a high near 31 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow, patchy fog after midnight and a low near 11.

 

North Central:  

Buffalo:  Chance of snow and rain after 3 p.m., otherwise mostly sunny today with a high near 41 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of rain and snow and a low near 25.

 

Sheridan:  Winter storm watch in effect from 11 p.m. tonight until Monday morning. Chance of rain after 5 p.m., increasing clouds today with a high near 44 and rain and snow likely overnight with a low near 25.
