Love’s Travel Stops opened its first truck stop in northern Wyoming on Friday in time for holiday travel that includes two restaurants, ample truck and RV parking, showers, laundry facilities and a dog park.
The 11,500-square-foot travel center serves traffic coming off nearby Interstates 90 and 25, situated at exit 58 on I-90. The truck stop is Love’s fifth in Wyoming and includes 64 truck parking spaces, 52 car spaces, four showers, a certified automatic truck scale (CAT), Love’s Fresh Kitchen restaurant and an Arby’s.
“Located just east of Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains, Buffalo is along a major travel route to numerous national parks, forests and other attractions in the Northwest,” Love’s said in a statement.
Love’s said it hired 55 people to staff the new travel center.
The truck stop includes three RV hookups, an RV dump, six diesel fuel bays and space for electric vehicle chargers to be built in partnership with a local utility company.
The 24-hour center also includes check cashing, copy and fax services.
