Letter To The Editor: Turning Wyoming Into California One Step At A Time

Dear editor:

Isn't it wonderful that Casper was recognized as a destination retirement location. Ranking 9th is a pretty big deal considering it beat out Las Vegas, Denver and Cheyenne.

Just be careful your hubris doesn't come back and bite ya.... you know.

All these west coast people are moving here, with their woke ideas on being offended, religion and politics.

It starts slow but in 5-7 years you will be very "offended" at how people will move in start changing your school lunches, programs, sports, band etc.

Think about it, at first it will be great, influx of new jobs being created, home being built.

Then it starts with what to teach in schools, what is art and isn't. And it will be difficult at best to stop or slow it down after you realize it's coming..neighbors you don't know or talk to.

Commute home is longer and the roads are worse...

By all means advertise our beautiful state, but don't complain when you wake up one morning and wonder how you got to California.

Sincerely,

Deb French
