Snow and rain across much of Wyoming on Wednesday with breezy conditions and winter weather advisories in several areas. Highs in the 30s and 40s and lows from the teens to the low 30s.

Central:  

Casper:   There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until Thursday at 6 a.m. Rain and snow are likely today and overnight. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 39 and wind gusts as high as 24 mph. Overnight it should be breezy with a low near 33 and wind gusts of up to 37 mph.  

Lander:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until Thursday at noon. Snow is near certain today and overnight. Up to 8 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, look for a high near 35 today and it should be blustery overnight with a low near 27 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph.

Glenrock There’s a winter weather advisory scheduled to take effect at 3 p.m. today and continue into Friday morning. Rain and snow are near certain today and snow is likely overnight with patchy blowing snow after 1 a.m. Up to around 2 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect a high near 37 today and wind gusts of up to 25 mph. Overnight it should be blustery with a low near 26 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph.  

Southwest:  

Evanston There’s a winter weather advisory scheduled to take effect at 3 p.m. today and continue into Thursday evening. There’s a slight chance of snow today and a chance of snow overnight. Up to 2 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 31 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 18.

Green River:  There’s a winter weather advisory scheduled to take effect at 6 p.m. today and continue until Thursday at noon. There’s a chance of snow today and snow is likely overnight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts of up to 26 mph. It should be mostly cloudy and blustery overnight with a low near 27 and wind gusts as high as 31 mph.

Kemmerer There’s a slight chance of snow after 5 p.m. today and a chance of snow overnight. Otherwise, look for it to be partly sunny and blustery today with a high near 31 and wind gusts as high as 26 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and blustery with a low near 22 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph.

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  There’s a chance of snow today and mainly before 10 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, expect it to be partly sunny and breezy with a high near 33 and wind gusts of up to 26 mph. It should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 17.

Afton:  There’s a chance of snow today and mainly before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 30 and it should gradually become partly cloudy overnight with a low near 17.

La Barge:  There’s a chance of snow mainly after 4 p.m. today and before 10 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near 37 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 21 and wind gusts of up to 20 mph. 

Northwest:  

Dubois:  Snow is likely today and there’s a chance of snow overnight. Otherwise, the high today should be near 35 and it should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 22. 

Jackson:  There’s a chance of snow mainly after 11 a.m. today and before 10 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 32 and skies should gradually clear overnight with a low near 19. 

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  Snow is likely today and possible tonight, mainly before 9 p.m.  Up to around 3 inches of new snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 30 and wind gusts of up to 21 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 14.

Bighorn Basin:

Thermopolis Snow and rain are likely today and overnight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 40 and wind gusts of up to 33 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and blustery with a low near 31 and wind gusts as high as 34 mph.

Cody:  Rain then snow is likely today and snow is possible overnight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts of up to 34 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and breezy with a low near 32 and wind gusts as high as 33 mph.

Ten Sleep:  There’s a chance of rain and snow today and overnight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 43 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 29.

North Central:  

Buffalo:  Rain and snow are likely today and overnight. Otherwise, expect it to be breezy today with a high near 37 and wind gusts as high as 37 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and windy with a low near 31 and wind gusts of up to 38 mph.

Sheridan:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until midnight tonight. Snow is near certain, possibly mixed with rain, later today and there’s a chance of rain and snow overnight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible.  Otherwise, look for a high near 43 today and it should be cloudy overnight with a low near 27.

Dayton:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until midnight tonight. Snow is near certain today and there’s a chance of rain and snow overnight. Up to around 2 inches of snow is possible.  Otherwise, look for a high near 40 today and it should be cloudy overnight with a low near 26.

Northeast:  

Gillette:  Snow and rain are likely today and overnight. Otherwise, the high today should be near 42 with wind gusts as high as 25 mph. Overnight it should be blustery with a low near 27 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph.

Newcastle:  Rain is likely today and rain then snow is possible overnight. Otherwise, it should be cloudy today with a high near 49 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph. It should be mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 32 and wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Upton:  Rain, mainly after 1 p.m., is likely today and rain then snow is possible overnight. Otherwise, look for it to be cloudy today with a high near 49 and wind gusts as high as 21 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 27 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph. 

Eastern Plains:  

Torrington:  Rain is likely today and overnight with some snow possible after 11 p.m. and patchy blowing snow after 4 a.m. Otherwise, expect it to be cloudy today with a high near 46 and blustery overnight with a low near 30 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

Douglas:  There’s a winter weather advisory set to take effect at 3 p.m. today and continue into Friday morning. Rain and snow are near certain today and snow with patchy blowing snow after midnight are likely overnight. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should be blustery with a low near 26 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

Laramie:  There’s a winter weather advisory scheduled to start at 3 p.m. today and go into Friday morning. Snow is possible today and near certain overnight with patchy blowing snow after 10 p.m. Up to around 3 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should be blustery with a low near 22 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

Snow is possible today and likely overnight with patchy blowing snow after 11 p.m. Up to around 2 inches of snow is possible. South Central:  

Rawlins:  There’s a winter weather advisory scheduled to start at 3 p.m. today and go into Friday morning. Snow is possible today, mainly after noon and it’s likely overnight with patchy blowing snow after 7 p.m. Up to around 4 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should be windy with a low near 25 and wind gusts as high as 45 mph.

Saratoga:  Snow is possible today and it’s likely overnight with patchy blowing snow after 3 a.m. Up to 2 inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 37 and cloudy and blustery overnight with a low near 24 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph.

Baggs:  There’s a chance of snow today and tonight, mainly before midnight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 40 and mostly cloudy and blustery overnight with a low near 24 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph.
