Snow possible in most of Wyoming on Thursday. Heavy snow, blowing snow with windy conditions in some areas. Several winter storm warnings and advisories in effect. Highs from the 20s to the 40s. Lows in the single digits to the low 20s.

Central:  

Casper:  There’s a chance of snow and rain today and snow overnight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and windy today with a high near 45 and wind gusts of up to 44 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 18.  

Riverton:  Look for it to be breezy and skies to gradually clear today with a high near 37 and wind gusts of up to 23 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 12.

Glenrock There’s a chance of snow and rain today and snow overnight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 45 and wind gusts of up to 35 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 14.  

Southwest:  

Evanston Snow, mainly before 11 a.m., with patchy blowing snow is likely today and patchy blowing snow is possible before 11 p.m. tonight. Up to 3 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be breezy today with a high near 35 and wind gusts as high as 33 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 21. 

Rock Springs:  There’s a chance of snow mainly before 10 a.m., otherwise it should be breezy and gradually become mostly sunny today with a high near 40 and wind gusts as high as 34 mph. Overnight it should be partly cloudy with a low near 23.    

South Pass There’s a winter storm warning in effect until tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.  Snow, heavy at times with patchy blowing snow is likely today and snow, mainly after 8 p.m., is possible tonight.  Otherwise, look for it to be windy today with a high near 33 and wind gusts as high as 45 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and breezy with a low near 16 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph.

Western Wyoming:  

Pinedale:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow. Snow before noon is likely with patchy blowing snow between noon and 3 p.m. Snow is also possible overnight, mainly after 2 a.m.  Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts as high as 28 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 15. 

Alpine:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow. Snow is near certain today and overnight.  Up to 7 inches of new snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph. Overnight the low should be near 25.  

Big Piney:  There’s a chance of snow today and overnight mainly after 2 a.m. Otherwise, expect it to be partly sunny and breezy today with a high near 39 and wind gusts as high as 26 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 13.  

Northwest:  

Dubois:  Snow, mainly before 2 p.m., is likely today and snow is likely overnight.  Otherwise, it should be partly sunny and breezy today with a high near 35 and wind gusts of up to 37 mph. Overnight it should be blustery with a low near 16 and wind gusts as high as 24 mph.

Jackson:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow. Snow, mainly in the morning with patchy blowing snow, is near certain today and snow is near certain overnight. Up to 5 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect it to be breezy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts of up to 26 mph. Overnight it should be breezy with a low near 23 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph.   

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park:  There’s a winter storm warning in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow. Look for snow, heavy at times, and blowing snow today and snow overnight. Up to 13 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, it should be breezy today with a high near 31 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph. Overnight it should be breezy with a low near 12 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph.

Bighorn Basin:  

Thermopolis There’s a chance of snow mainly after 2 p.m. today and after 2 a.m. overnight. Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 12.

Cody:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect from 11 a.m. today until 11 a.m. tomorrow. Snow is likely between noon and 2 p.m. today and it’s possible mainly after midnight tonight. Up to 2 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, look for it to be cloudy and blustery today with a high near 23 and wind gusts up to 28 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 8.

Worland:  There’s a chance of snow, mainly after 1 p.m. today and mainly after midnight tonight. Otherwise, expect it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 33 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 12.  

North Central:  

Buffalo:  Snow, mainly after 1 p.m., is likely today and there’s a chance of snow overnight. Otherwise, expect it to be cloudy and blustery today with a high near 27 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and blustery with a low near 11 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph. 

Sheridan:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow.  Snow is near certain today and overnight. Up to 3 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, look for a high today near 29 and a low overnight near 9.   

Big Horn:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 a.m. tomorrow.  Snow, mainly after 11 a.m., is near certain today and overnight. Up to 4 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, expect a high today near 29 and a low overnight near 8.   

Northeast:  

Gillette:  Snow, mainly after 11 a.m., is likely today and snow is likely overnight. Up to 2 or more inches of snow is possible. Otherwise, the high today should be near 27 and winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 11 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph. 

Sundance:  There’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 p.m.  Snow after 10 a.m., heavy at times, is near certain today and snow overnight is likely. Up to 6 or more inches of snow is possible.  Otherwise, the high today should be near 23 with wind gusts as high as 20 mph.  Overnight the low should be near 10 with wind gusts as high as 20 mph.

Upton:  Snow, mainly after 11 a.m., is near certain today and snow, mainly before 11 p.m., is likely tonight. Up to 2 or more inches of snow is possible.  Otherwise, the high today should be near 30 and the low overnight near 10.

Eastern Plains:  

Torrington:  There’s a chance of rain and snow today and overnight.  Otherwise, it should be mostly cloudy today with a high near 46 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low near 14.  

Douglas:  There’s a chance of snow today and overnight. Otherwise, expect it to be partly sunny and breezy with a high near 46 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 12.   

Midwest:   There’s a chance of snow mainly after 11 a.m. today and after 2 a.m. overnight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 35 and wind gusts as high as 34 mph.  Overnight it should be cloudy and blustery with a low near 15 and wind gusts of up to 24 mph. 

Southeast:  

Cheyenne:  Expect it to be mostly sunny and breezy today with a high near 45 and wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Overnight it should be partly cloudy and blustery with a low near 17 and 10-20 mph winds.

Laramie:  There’s a slight chance of snow after 11 a.m. today and before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, look for it to be mostly sunny and breezy today with a high near 38 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph.  Overnight it should be partly cloudy with a low near 19.

Medicine Bow:  There’s a chance of snow today and a chance of snow tonight, mainly before midnight. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny and windy today with a high near 37 and wind gusts as high as 55 mph.  Overnight it should be mostly cloudy and breezy with a low near 20 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph.

South Central:  

Rawlins:  Snow, mainly before noon, and patchy blowing snow is possible today and there’s a slight chance of snow after midnight tonight. Otherwise, it should be partly sunny and windy today with a high near 34 and wind gusts of up to 45 mph. Overnight it should be partly cloudy and breezy with a low near 21 and wind gusts of up to 30 mph.

Encampment:  Snow with patchy blowing snow is likely today and there’s a chance of snow overnight.  Otherwise, expect it to be breezy today with a high near 35 and wind gusts of up to 35 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 23.

Baggs:  Snow, mainly between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., is possible today and there’s a slight chance of snow overnight.  Otherwise, look for it to be mostly cloudy and breezy today with a high near 40 and wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Overnight it should be mostly cloudy with a low near 18.
