Letter to the Editor: When Is Rod Miller Going To Apologize?

Dear editor:

Now that the the federal FDA agency has admitted that Ivermectin is a cheap, affordable, and effective medication to treat Covid-19, is your columnist Rod "follow the crowd" Miller going to apologize to your readers for [the] shameful column that was published in CSD on August 23, 2021?

Ivermectin has been approved for human use since 1987, and Rod, the Romney Republican, assured your readers that since he is a former rancher, he knew that the drug was nothing more than an animal medicine whose use was suspect in humans.

I wonder how much stock in big pharma he owns, since he asserted the vaccines were a much better choice than Ivermectin.

On a brighter note, I was glad to see columnist Dave Simpson call out young whippersnapper reporters that think they are founts of knowledge, when they drop this absurd statement behind an opinion by someone they don't agree with: "a position that has been debunked."

Dave hit the nail squarely on the head when he stated, "Who died and made them the judges of things that are or are not “bunk?”."

Is Mr. Miller going to admit now that his column was "bunk?"

Sincerely,

Mick Finn
